The IKON Model 10096 PC/ATbus HYPERchannel Adapter Interface allows theconnection of any Sun 386i system to the Network Systems Corporation A-400 HYPERchannel or B-400 HYPERbus network adapters. HYPERchannel andHYPERbus networks can be used to connect to various mainframe andminicomputers.DMA memory accesses use 8- or 16-bit data path. Transfer rate is 800 KBper second on 7 MHz bus. The interrupt level and DMA channel areselected via on-board switches.
